IMPORTANT CLUB MEMBER INFO
A couple concerns were discussed at the September 2nd Club meeting that must be addressed with all members:
PARKING AREA SAFETY: We are witnessing increased incidents of excessive speed in the parking area. Members are reminded the speed for ANY vehicle in the parking area is 5mph. Lack of a speedometer is no excuse. Your speed should never prevent you from stopping on the proverbial dime (in just a few feet). The rule applies regardless of how many vehicles are in the parking area. It’s all about integrity. Do the right thing even when nobody is watching.
DECALS: We must remind everyone that membership decals shall be adhered to a permanent part of every machine utilizing the peel & stick adhesive on the decal. Decals may NOT be displayed hanging in a plastic bag, nor affixed under a laminate material.
Decals must be affixed to smooth plastic, plexiglass, or a glossy painted area. Textured plastic, matte paint, or bare metal areas are highly discouraged as they greatly increase your risk of losing the decal and paying $25 for a new one.
A decal on an ATV or SxS must be on the front left part of the machine so it is clearly visible to approaching riders. The same is preferred for dirt bikes, but due to restrictions, decals on dirt bikes may be affixed to the left side of the fuel tank or suitable fairing.
Regardless of where you apply a decal, you may be approached by a Club Officer asking to see it at ANY time while on Club property. More often than not, this may be to verify membership when you arrive. Regardless of the reason for asking, if we don’t see a valid decal, you will be asked to vacate the property and will be reported to law enforcement for trespassing.
Finally, pay close attention to the condition of your decal, especially after cleaning. If your decal begins to peel off, remove it and place it in your pocket. If you bring us a decal with the serial number still legible, we will gladly replace it for FREE. If you claim your decal was lost, you are liable to pay $25 for a replacement.
